Emmy’s Organics Moving to Dryden

Congratulations to Emmy’s Organics on their move to Dryden! The company has purchased a building located at 15 Royal Road allowing the company to maintain operations in Tompkins County and bring back in-house production that had been shifted to a co-packer out of state. Founded in 2009 in Ithaca, Emmy’s manufactures and distributes certified organic, non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and kosher coconut based cookies. Emmy’s products can be found at major retailers throughout the United States and Canada including Whole Foods Markets, CVS, Rite Aid, Wegmans, and Sprouts.

TCAD’s revolving loan fund supported Emmy’s move with a $150,000 loan. This loan, combined with financing by Tompkins Trust Company and the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council enabled this $2.3 million project to go forward. The Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency (TCIDA) also delivered an incentive to assist the company to purchase their first building and grow in Tompkins County.
