Grainful, a growing Ithaca-based company and TCAD loan fund recipient, recently won a spot in the
Chobani Food Incubator program, which looks for “innovative early stage food and beverage startups.”
Grainful was one of seven companies selected for the program this year out of more than 550 applicants. Grainful will receive a $25,000 grant from Chobani, along with other resources to help grow their business.
Grainful first started producing “convenient frozen dinner entrees by pairing whole grain steel cut oats with a colorful palette of bold spices and fresh, natural ingredients.” The company now offers “chef-inspired mouthwatering frozen entrees and meal kits made with 100% whole grain steel cut oats,” that use non-GMO ingredients and are gluten free certified.
