Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul Visit Ithaca in Support of Childcare Funding Bill

As the economy reopens, the need for reliable, safe, affordable, and accessible childcare, is a growing concern facing our local workforce. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul visited Downtown Ithaca Children’s Center (DICC) to express their concern for the lack of childcare available in New York State and across the country and their support for a proposed $50 billion childcare spending bill as part of the next federal relief package.
