TCAD President, Heather McDaniel, shared TCAD’s Annual Report to the Community today with the following message:
Dear Community Partner,
It has been three months since all of our lives were first impacted by COVID-19. Three months ago the TCAD team was putting the fining touches on our annual report and planning for our annual meeting in May – our opportunity to share and celebrate our successes with all of you.
We made the decision to cancel the annual meeting, but I could not let an entire year go by without sharing the work we did in 2019 to contribute to a thriving and prosperous Ithaca and Tompkins County. I am pleased to share TCAD’s Annual Report to the Community.

As we look to the future, we see a new reality every day. At TCAD, we are doing everything we can to communicate information, convene stakeholders, and create new resources to ensure that business and industry survive this crisis and adapt to recover and prosper. At the same time, we remain committed to supporting the key strategic focus areas in our five-year plan: economic development leadership, business retention and expansion, business attraction, workforce development, and community awareness.
I want to thank the TCAD Board of Directors for your leadership and our investors for your support of the work that we do. As the economic development organization for Tompkins County, we are working hard for each and every one of you.
