Michael Stamm, President of Tompkins County Area Development (TCAD), was presented with the Brian T. McMahon Lifetime Achievement Award by the New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) at NYSEDC’s 2018 Annual Conference in Cooperstown, NY on May 23rd.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Michael’s contributions to economic development in Tompkins County, the Southern Tier, and at the State level.
Michael has been President of TCAD since September 1985. He is past chair of the Board of Directors of the NYSEDC, is a member of the Executive Committee of the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council, and is the Vice Chair of the Southern Tier Economic Development Corporation. Michael was named Economic Developer of the Year for New York State by NYSEDC in 2005.
