TCAD Visits Ithaca Hummus

20160419_IH_3825TCAD visited Ithaca Hummus today and toured the production area. New equipment fills the containers, seals them, and stamps the expiration date. The packaging has been redesigned and two new flavors (Red Pepper and Lemons & Beet) are now available – chec
k them out at your local grocery store!

TCAD has provided two loans to Ithaca Hummus from its Revolving Loan Fund program over the past two years. Both loans were to assist with equipment purchases to scale up production and increase staffing levels to meet demand. The company was founded in 2013 and hit the $1 million in total sales mark earlier this year.
