Tompkins County IDA

The Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) had 25 active projects receiving property tax incentives that were approved between 2001 and 2015. These projects retained or created 2,458 jobs (83% of projected goals) with total payroll in 2015 of $103 million and an average wage of $28.49 per hour. Many companies reported very high percentages of workers that live in Tompkins County. Projects have paid $11.6 million in new property taxes.

Projects that exceeded job creation goals are Kionix, Macom, South Hill Business Campus, F&T Distributing, and Ithaca Beer Company.
