“IAED board members represent every sector of our economy, from education and healthcare to government, non-profit, and industry. They contribute to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability, as well as serving as ambassadors and advocates. I look forward to the insight, foresight, and oversight of the new and returning members,” said IAED President, Heather McDaniel.

At the same meeting, IAED’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to elect as officers Cathy Hart (Ithaca Marriott), Chair; Joel Malina (Cornell University), Vice Chair; Jeff Gorsky (Sciarabba Walker), Treasurer; and Jodi Denman (Knickerbocker Bed Company), Secretary. “IAED supports local employers and the economy through direct services to businesses, workforce development, and by coordinating economic development initiatives. Much of our work is not very visible to the public but is absolutely vital to job quality and quality of life in our community,” added Hart.

The IAED Executive Committee, which includes the officers along with Katie Borgella (Tompkins County), Dr. Greg Galvin (Rheonix), Cantelmo and Koreman, serve in the same capacity for IAED’s 501(c)3 subsidiary, TCAD Foundation.
